2002 MTV Video Music Awards

On Thursday, August 29th, 2002 - P. Diddy and Guy Oseary celebrated the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards with a post party in New York City's exclusive Cipriani's. From 11pm until 4am Music and Hollywood's biggest stars came together to create what was dubbed "The Greatest Party of All Time".

Surf Camp Inc was selected by an exclusive NYC talent booking and brokering firm to be included in the VIP Celebrity Gift Baskets. "We are looking for upscale brands with hip, trendy products", said the agency rep. Another no-brainer, said Founder Rick Civelli, we will see you in Manhattan!

Rick and Jen Civelli flew up to NYC, and arrived at Cipriani's via a stretch limo. After going through several fashion and security check points we walked through the entrance, and were simply amazed. "It was top shelf and caviar until 4am", said Jen. "It was definitely the greatest party of all time", said Rick who's highlight was being shoulder to shoulder with P. Diddy on the dance floor, how often does that happen?

Talk about press - the gift basket was the talk of the town and received PR hits in both TV and print including; Access Hollywood, CNBC, Extra, The Other Half, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, US Magazine, People Mag, NY Post, NY Daily News, NY Times, Women's Wear Daily, Fort Worth Star, Arizona Republic, St. Petersburg Times, San Fran Examiner, San Fran Chronicle, and not to mention local plugs in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.

Celebrities that received a gift basket valued over $25,000 included, Anthony Kiedis, Busta Rhymes, Carson Daly, Christine Auguliera, Justin Timberlake, Lisa Marie Presely, Mary J. Each celebrity received an exclusive Surf Camp t-shirt and a week at Surf Camp.
