Surf Camp offers the ultimate field trip experience, and great ways to immerse your class into a world of surfing, marine science, and pure ocean discovery. We engage students in exciting, hands-on activities, as well as providing top notch professional marine biology instruction.

Surf Camp's headquarters, located in beautiful Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, is the perfect place for school groups ages 8-21. Students explore the wonders of the marine world from the top of a wave to the muddy bottoms of the salt marsh. Throughout the day, the mysteries of the ocean are revealed through hands-on activities. Students investigate the ocean and its surroundings studying alongside many talented marine scientists and ocean safety professionals. While participating in our program, students gain a greater appreciation for the marine environment, and the importance of being stewards of coastal conservation.

The beaches of North Carolina offer a plethora of natural resources and habitats to explore. The rolling waves offer ideal beginner surfing conditions, but also a setting to excite students about marine science. Students receive quality instruction including water safety, and environmental awareness. Our dynamic marine science curriculum introduces students to the plants and animals that live in our diverses coastal habitats, including maritime forests, salt marshes, mudflats, and beaches.
