Green School Bali
For every pair of sunglasses or watch you purchase we will donate the funds necessary to pay two weeks of tuition for a local student to
attend the Kul-Kul Connection Program at the Green School in Bali.
The Kul-Kul Connection Program is a community-driven after-school program focused on language and sustainability. It provides young people with the skills they need to make a difference. They are motivated to master the English language which empowers the students to tackle bigger challenges. With a focus on waste reduction, reuse and recycling, these children are leading change one household, one community, and one village at a time.
The Green School in Bali is a natural, holistic, student-centered learning environment that empowers and inspires students to be creative and innovative,
green leaders. The U.S. Green Building Council’s Center for Green Schools
awarded Green School the “2012 Greenest School on Earth“.

Swell Vision is one of the longest corporate sponsors of the local scholarship program, which today funds for 40 Balinese children enrolling in Green School full time and learning about sustainability.
In 2014, we became a sponsor of the Green School in Bali, Indonesia through committing a portion of each and every sale to the Local Scholarship Program. This contribution gives local Balinese children the opportunity to attend the Green School and access education for young leaders in global citizenship.
At Swell Vision we work closely with the Green School to promote common agendas on the environment and sustainability with key focus on bamboo as a renewable resource. The Green School's vision is a “natural, holistic, student –centered learning environment that empowers and inspires their students to be creative, innovative, green leaders.”
We believe that real change in environmental practices must be developed from the ground up through the education of our children. Green School aims to allocate up to twenty percent of its student placement from Bali and other Indonesian islands. These children are essential members of the Green School community. Providing the opportunity for a Green School education not only gives each Local Scholar an educational experience they can receive nowhere else, it also enhances and enriches the fabric of our entire community.
Green School is an amazing project, pioneering sustainability within education. It is pushing educational boundaries at a time when the world must rethink whether more of the same is acceptable. It is preparing students to be critical and creative thinkers who are confident to champion the sustainability of the world and its environment. It is inspiring their thirst for knowledge, equipping them with appropriate and relevant teachings, and nurturing their passion to influence change in the way we are managing this planet.
