Fall Equinox
September 22, 2022, marks the Fall or autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. The Equinox is Latin for "equal nights" and occur twice a year, Spring & Fall, usually around the third week of the months of March & September. It is the when the center of the sun shines on the equator making day and night lengths everywhere on earth nearly equal. The sun crosses the equator from north to south on the Fall Equinox (opposite in the Spring) In the Northern hemisphere, this marks to the first day of fall, In the southern hemisphere it is the beginning of spring.

Get outside in nature and honor this time of renewal and while you're at it do some voluntary housekeeping for Mother Nature...after all, September is Global Clean Up Month, too!
